PPPoE customers
Each PPPoE customer has a login (username and password), a package, an optional router
device, an expiry date (Paid Until) and a wallet with its own account number that they pay
into. You add and manage customers from Services → PPPoEs (/dashboard/pppoes).

Go to Services → PPPoEs and click Add PPPoE Customer.

- Dispatch PINs generates a 4-digit PIN for customers and sends it by SMS, for customers created Today, This Week or From Beginning. Customers who already have a PIN are skipped unless you tick Regenerate PINs for customers who already have one. SMS charges apply for each message.
The customer page
Section titled “The customer page”Click any customer to open their page (/dashboard/customers/pppoe/<id>). At the top is the
Actions grid, with links to Access Logs and How to Connect. Below it you’ll find
the live session, the last login attempt, account details and balances, Package Details,
Device Details, Session History and Recent Customer Payments.

Connecting manually
Section titled “Connecting manually”Connect lets you turn a customer on without them paying through the system. Choose a Connection Mode:
- Normal: standard connection until the Package Expiry Date you choose. You can record a Payment Method of Cash or Cheque (with an optional cheque image), or No payment record.
- Grace Period: connects now, the customer pays later. Pick when the grace period ends.
- Free Trial: no payment required, until the date you pick.
Deposit
Section titled “Deposit”Deposit records money a customer paid you outside the payment flow: Cash, Cheque or Electronic (paid straight to one of your payment providers). Enter the Amount, an optional Transaction ref and Note. The deposit is credited to the customer and used to pay for their service.
Convert to static
Section titled “Convert to static”To Static creates a fixed-IP customer, moves the customer’s wallet to it, and archives the PPPoE account. Choose a Router Device with a static network and optionally a fixed IP (blank picks the next free one). If the customer was converted from static before, their original static record is restored instead. See Statics.
Spotting login problems
Section titled “Spotting login problems”If the customer’s last login failed, the page shows “This PPPoE account failed to authenticate” next to the live session, with recent attempts. A session that is up while another device keeps failing usually means two routers are using the same login. See Sessions and logs.
